How Many Guests Can the Property Accommodate?

Each wine country suite sleeps four.  Rent the entire house for groups up to eight.

How Many Bedrooms & Bathrooms are There?

Each suite contains two bathrooms.  There is one bedroom in each suite on the mid-level, featuring a King Size Bed and a living room that contains a Queen Size Sleeper Sofa on the top floor.

 

What Time is Check-In / Check-Out?

Check-In is at 3:00pm and Check-Out is at 11:00am.  Early check-in may be possible upon availability.

How Do I Gain Access to the Property?

Each suite features a keypad.  The entry code will be sent to you prior to your reservation date.  It is a stress fee, contact free entry.

 

Is the Kitchen Fully Equipped?

Yes!  The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, tea kettle and all cooking necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  We even feature a gas grill on the lower level patio.

Is There TV Streaming Service?

Our suites feature Roku Smart TV's.  Simply input your check-out date once asked when the TV is first turned on and you will be able to sign into your online accounts as needed with all information being reset upon checkout.

How Far Is It from Giant City State Park and the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail?

Shawnee Hills Hideaway is located two miles from the nearest Shawnee Hills Wine Trail winery and a mere 2 minutes from Giant City State Park.  We are centrally located on the trail so that you can enjoy both the East and West sides of the Wine Trail and return to your suite after a day of adventure to kick back and relax.

Is the Property Wheelchair Accessible?

No.  Our suites feature a number of stairs and are not accessible to wheelchairs.  If you have trouble ascending or descending stairs, we will happily recommend other area lodging options that may be more suitable for you.

Is the Property Pet Friendly?

No.  While we love animals, Shawnee Hills Hideaway is not a pet-friendly lodging option. This helps us maintain a clean, comfortable space for all guests, including those with allergies.

Is Smoking Allowed?

No.  This is a NO Smoking property.

​

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Guests who cancel 7 – 30 days before check-in get 50% back. After that, their trip is non-refundable.

Is Parking Available?

Yes.  Free parking is available.  Two cars per suite rental are allowed in the parking lot.  If you are planning a girlfriend getaway or family gathering where more cars are necessary, please contact us to work with you to find the best solution.
